I guess i didnt read the sys req's, but when i try to open aperture on my ibook 12" it doesnt even open, no warning or error messages, it just does nothing.

Is that normal, and if so, oh well, I am getting a mac pro this spring.

Aperture will not run on an iBook. You can download the "checker" program from the Aperture website to see if your system is capable and the iBook is definitely not.

thanks chundles. I thought that might be the case. So its normal for it to do just nothing, not even throw an error code saying that my computer is not compatible?
