I use a PC, as well as my Mac's, for iTunes, movie (.mkv) file storage. Currently, my external storage hard drives are formatted in ExFat. I'd like to configure my new iMac, with High Sierra. Will the new APFS file system be able to recognize my ExFat formatted storage ??

APFS and ExFat

High Sierra will most likely fully support ExFAT. APFS has nothing to do that, it's just a file system, like ExFAT.
