APFS Partition

im about to do a clean install (so corruption) and wanted to know if anyone has messed with the new APFS. I might as well use that now with a fresh install. If you have, can you keep a bootcamp partition intact or does it involve a complete disk format?

I didn't think APFS was bootable? I'd be cautious if I was you, if there's anything on the whole hard drive you need. It's really just aimed at alpha testing I think.

You can't use an APFS partition for system install. Its really just a pre-preview feature at this point.

You both are right...did more searching and while it is good, it's not ready yet. It will be included for secondary partitions, but not bootable.
