Apiotek eSata Adapter

OWC lists this for $45. But they also list some for over $100.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the more expensive ones doing that the less expensive ones aren't?

I'm eyeballing an eSata external HD, but want to make sure I get the right adapter...
