It's good, got my first one last week. It does get hot, really hot, but it's best interface I have ever heard. Going to add some heat sinks to the chips, that will help. Perfect timing with Pro Tools 9.

    MOAR updates please!

I was stuck on an Ensemble until I saw the Symphony IO.

Would love to hear experiences good and bad with it.

...and can't wait for the Thunderbolt I/O ports to be added...

I keep patiently waiting for the Ensemble 2 :D... If you look at their current product line it's the next thing to update !

Ensemble with Thunderbolt would be lovely.

I'm super close to making an iMac (or new/next MBP if I somehow wait long enough) + Apogee purchase to get my studio's foundation laid.

I was in love with the original Ensemble (I've been planning this for a while), then came the Symphony (expensive but I may just "do it"), then came Thunderbolt.

Either Apogee announces the TB module for Symphony (ideally with a few mic preamps AND a few instrument in's) or Ensemble 2 with Thunder......and I'm IN.

Would love to figure put how to get a deal on the combined purchase...maybe via Small Business...hmm.
