Hey guys!

So my primary Apple ID is an @mac.com, but I don't have access to that e-mail since I didn't have a MobileMe subscription when it got migrated to iCloud. An @me.com and @icloud.com e-mails were created as alternate IDs, but when I try login to them with the "App and iTunes Store" it switches to the @mac.com, which is a problem (not a big problem, but it bothers me) because everything I purchase, I don't receive the e-mail receipts as they go to the @mac.com e-mail. In the previous iOS 9 betas when I would login to iCloud it also switched to the @mac.com e-mail when I used the alternate IDs but now it allows me to stay on the alternate IDs. Anyone know why it's not letting me use my alternate IDs? I can't change my primary e-mail as the edit button doesn't show up on appleid.apple.com.

I would contact Apple support and try and get them to change your primary ID email for you. If it's even at all possible, but worth a shot since it's not allowing you to edit it.

I'll try contacting them again. Last I heard was that they can't fix it and I'll just have to create a whole new account...which sucks because of my purchases.

Are you able to create a new email account in the mail app at all? Try creating a new account in the mail app as the @Mac.com one you have. (on your phone or computer) It looks like you need to reply to the "verification email sent"

I went to mine and my primary shows the edit button. (I don't use iCloud or any of Apple's emails for my primary.)

You can change the primary email associated with your account.

Email support with an explanation and they may be able to turn the email account back on for you. They can't change the account email as everything you purchase has your detailed embedded in it.

You can see in the screen shot he doesn't have the edit button. That is because he hasn't been able to verify it yet (you can see this from the "verification email sent" .) He needs to somehow add his @mac.com as an email account to get the verify email and then change it. Or have Apple manually change it for him if possible.
