App categories

App categories are very broken in current and past iOS versions. You have games like Monument Valley 3 or even Apple Games in "Other". I have categories called "Productivity", "Finance", and "Productivity and Finance".

Will Apple ever fix those categories?

P.S. On macOS those categories are also broken.

Send feedback in the feedback app. I have been sending feedback about the App Library and keyboard for some time now.

I would do that if I thought someone at Apple would actually read it. I'm still waiting that they fix CardDAV and Pages & Co.

App Library was part of iOS 14 and hasn’t changed one bit since launch. I get the rant, but I don’t see any difference with categories in iOS 27. Just as bad as it’s always been.
