App Causing Screen Issues?

Hello,

My iPhone 6 (64G) has had screen issues involving flickering and the appearance of vertical line distortions on the screen, which then turns black for a moment, then returns to normal. It's sort of like the phone is "fainting ," then coming to.

I suspect it may have been caused by overheating, even though the problem has occurred when the phone wasn't being charged.

I also suspect one of my apps could be causing this, specifically my "Free Ram" app; yesterday I deleted and reinstalled Free Ram, and now I don't seem to be having screen issues, even though it's really too soon to tell. Several years ago the app was updated to support 64 bit CPU. (Maybe the original download supported 32?)

An app wouldn't cause hardware type of issues. What's this app in any case? Is it some jailbreak tweak?

See if it does it again. If it does REMOVE you app that you suspect and see if the problem goes away. What you describe sounds like a hardware problem but who know. Only Apple can diagnose.

C DM, the app is "Free Ram," which I downloaded from the App Store. There was no jailbreak.

I hope you enjoy. The AW is pretty nice Apple hardware.
