App for audio mixing?

I need a simple and easy to use app for audio mixing - to fade-in/out, overlay two tracks etc.

What about Garage Band, which is included in iLife, which comes with every Mac?
Or you could try Audacity.

Garage Band initially looked too complex, but I'll look again. I'd forgotten about Audacity.

Garage Band is what you are looking for. It's about the simplest one.
