Does anyone know of an app that would allow an ipad to control a WinXP tablet via Wifi through a direct connection rather than having to go through the web? I need to be able control the tablet through my ipad wirelessly but within a local area (a few 100 ft max). I'm looking for something like a remote desktop but that would work without an internet connection/ wifi router. Basically, I'd like to be able to set-up an adhoc wifi connection on the laptop that can talk to the ipad. Can wifi even work like this? Would bluetooth be a better option if such an app exists? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
