Hi everyone. I just got an iPad 2. I am looking for an app that will allow me to transfer files that I use for work onto the iPad. I literally have hundreds if not thousands of files in PDF, text or word formats that I would like to move onto the iPad. I have looked at apps like Goodreader and Dropbox, and, while they can do it, Goodreader would take too long to transfer them in any organized manner, and Dropbox would require that I have internet access, which would require using more data than I would like in places that do not have wifi. Is there an app that will allow me to transfer the files quickly in an organized manner? Thanks!

Any reason not to put everything on a thumbdrive, plug it onto your home computer and then click and drag all the files at once to Goodreader app via iTunes? You'll have to organize after moving the files to your ipad, but it will be 100x quicker than using wifi or 3G.

Hi. Thanks for the resonse. I did that with some of the files, but it took a long time. Problem is, I have the files in a LOT of different folders. I would have to go into each individual folder to move the files. Is there any way to move the whole folder without opening it up and moving the individual files?

If you create a zip file by selecting the top level folder and transfer it to GoodReader, GoodReader will unzip the zip file and create the folder structure from the zip file with all the files in their folders.

Awesome suggestion! You just made my day. I tried this, and it worked perfectly! Thanks!

You and me both, this is a great solution for this. This should be a sticky post! Thank you for the tip!!!:)
