You shouldn't be promoted to put in your Apple ID password to answer calls or really to do all that much at all. Something doesn't seem right with your device. Have you tried signing out of your Apple ID and signing back in?

yes i have...reading posts on line...I think this is an ongoing problem by others...I would say its a flaw in the OS...its sad that unlike the Mac I use...no utility exists in 4 the iPhone......you could get rich designing one. I still would like to know if an app exists to enter this information automatically.

What utility? For what? Things aren't set up to consistently ask you for your Apple ID and password, and it's not something that continuously happens (as you describe it) for most people, as that shouldn't be the case.

I suggest you delete your Utilities application for your mac....you don't need it....or as you say" for what?"

Hmmm…what do you say it is then when the rest of us do not experience this problem?

I've had an iPhone since December 2011 and not ONCE have I EVER been asked to enter my Apple ID to answer a phone call. And that's from iOS 5 to iOS 10.

Delete the Utilities folder? So, delete the folder that contains all the Apple installed apps that allow you to take care of your Mac.

    Not smart.

I think you're confused and therefore have this backwards. YOU are the one person out of the millions and millions of iPhone owners who is having this issue, not the rest of us.
