I just need to copy folders (images, videos, music and documents) from system drive to ext drive number 2 and from ext drive number 1 to number 2, nothing complicated with scheduling and so on, I don't want anything to run in the background, just copy data and if I delete from origin to be deleted from destination too, any suggestions?

Grazie

Yes, it sounds like synchronization is wanted, not backup.

For Terminal users rsync is the built-in solution in macOS. Also backup tools like Carbon Copy Cloner rely on it. There are GUI wrappers for file sync with rsync like RsyncOSX and RsyncUI or FreeFileSync. Another sync tool is ChronoSync Express. One problem I ran into with file syncing, namely FreeFileSync, is that important metadata like file creation and modification time wasn't copied. Take a look at this while testing.

You could set up a "task filter" in CarbonCopyCloner to do this for you.
