Hi,

Can someone recommend an app for uncompressing zipped files in rar format. I tried 'iUnarchive lite' but it is very buggy and keeps crashing.

I have goodreader, filebrowser. Any idea if these apps can uncompress?

With all due respect, if you read my first post carefully, I mentioned that I Downloaded the lite version of the the app and it is very buggy and crashes all the time!

Any luck with the paid?

A very simple google search could have yielded you results. Anyway:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iunarchive/id368411864?mt=8

I am posting this so that others do not have to waste money like I did.

If you need to uncompress 'zip' files goodreader, atomic web browser (paid version) have the functionality inbuilt. No need to buy separate app.

If you want to uncompress 'rar' format then get iUnarchive (paid version). This app crashes a bit but it is the only credible app I found in iOS that works. It also uncompresses other formats like 7z,tar,gzip...
