    Hello,

I as amateur director, I need an app for iPad for creating stories for short movies. It must have a version for Mac too and ability to export data (PDF, TXT etc...)

    Thanks

Final draft is good. Also scrivener, but scrivener doesn't have an iOS app.

    Pages.

Seriously. You don't need a special program to write stories or scripts.

I could never write long, structured pieces with a word processor. I get lost and unorganised.

If there is no iOS app then can Scrivener save PDF, DOC, or TXT and can be read ith Page? OP could use Page app on his iPad.

Final draft is really good, it's what I use both on my Mac and iPad, plus it's an industry standard for both movie and TV writers.

Writers Duet is a cloud screenwriting tool which is free for certain usage and runs in your browser on both Mac and iPad. Although last time I looked iPad support was new and a little clunky. Requires internet connection though. Offline version is expected I think but would be a paid thing. Celtx is similar.
