App icons missing from notifications

Anyone having issues in WatchOS 4 with notifications coming in and missing the app icon? When a notification is first coming in, the app icon is the gray X instead of the actual app icon. In Notification Center it shows up fine.

I tried a fresh install but I haven't had any luck fixing it.

Maybe WatchOS 4.1 will fix it? Anyone else have this issue?

Yes. For me it's only Twitter & IFTTT notifications. All others are ok.

I think this is a developer issue. Snapchat was doing it on mine.

A search would have revealed several other threads with people experiencing the same issue. It is unknown exactly what is causing this issue as it seems to be affecting multiple apps for different people. For me, it’s Snapchat and Twitter. Some are saying it’s a problem with the developers, others are saying with WatchOS 4.
