Is anyone else having issues after upgrading to iPhone 13 Max that App Library on the phone isn’t categorized properly. It has lots of apps under “Other”instead of Food or Utilities.

Yes! I thought I was going crazy. Restored my backup to my phone today and all of my downloaded apps are categorized as Other. It’s super frustrating. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed with a software update.

Just as an update to this - this has somehow resolved itself. All applications are categorized properly in my App Library. Curious if it just needed to be plugged into power for this to work? It seemed like it happened overnight on my first charge and I had not plugged the phone into power at any point during the restore and setup process.

The issue was resolved the next day on its own without me doing anything. It’s just all part of the restoring process which just happens automatically in the background. It just took a while. Everything is now where it should be

Gah! This is happening to me as well! I migrated from iPhone 11 Pro Max to iPhone 13 Pro Max and all my apps are stuck in the "Other" category in the App Library.

I called Apple Support, they told me to retry to setup from back-up, and it failed. It then did the same thing on the second try. They took screenshots of my device and are reporting the issue to their engineers .

I had to rebuild my phone due to the on and off issue yesterday and my apps are in crazy folders. It's good to know that it may fix itself in time.

Mine did finally get the folders mostly correct, however, I did lose the cool, “dining & drinks” folder that I had. Now it's “shopping & food”, even though there is a “shopping” one already.
