App names extensions

Hi

Just came in and booted my Mac Pro to find all my progs/apps are showing their extension names .app.

Was'nt like this earliar, how do I switch of the extension names, have tried to no avail.

Sorry real stressed at moment family member in hospital not thinking straight.

Turned off the extension names 🙂
