how do i make exceptions for apps (home alarm monitoring, etc) that alert me even in DND mode at night

I may be wrong but there isn’t anyway to make exceptions just for Apps.

The app developers are well aware of the available notification options in iOS...so...it would be on them to make a DND workaround and the only thing I can think of is a call from a specific number that you'd have to allow through DND.

What's there is basically all that DND can support (at least so far).
