I find myself doing some things maybe once a year, but want to track it and be able to locate it quickly. For example:

I travel a lot, so I find a great bar/ restaurant that I want to remember when I come back. (don't really want a word doc that has 50 folders with each state)

I get a bonus each year... what was it last year? Or the year before?

How much were my mortgage taxes last year?

Just random things I'd like to be able to pull up on occasion.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I wouldn't exactly call the last two random things, I would say they are quite important :)

A filing cabinet with your Tax forms and W2? A file folder with trifling home details like mortage payments, home insurance policy and property taxes?

Quicken, MS Money, etc. for tracking your finances?

Sticky notes on your desk/bulletin board/wall?

Scanned copies of these documents in your computer files?

iCal with notes on the dates you dealt with these and the amounts of them?

Palm Desktop with notes and/or events for these items of interest?

Photos of these items (documents, receipts, etc.) organized in an iPhoto Event named "Random Things I Like to Know".

An address book with addresses of Restaurants you like. You could even categorize them under "Restaurants"!

Thanks! Those are great.

I hadn't thought of Address book/ NYC or Dallas or whatever with preceding info.
Don't want any paper!! That's so 80's. So no file cabinet.

Gonna hit the demo of that memory program. Give it a whirl.

Thanks a ton!!
