Hi all, this is going to be my first post here on these forums, so my apologies if its been asked before :S

I'm looking for a way to remove the icon overlay from icons in ios 6. For clarification, i want to remove the glassy sheen that goes over a lot of installed icons, leaving a more flat feel more akin to ios 7 (note, im on ios 6.1.2)

An example of this overlay would be this:

Any help is well appreciated
