App Pictures look horrible on the Retina Display

This is a full res pic taken on the iPhone 4, the icons from Apple look stunning, but look the IM+ and Pandora on the bottom right.

Will developers fix this over time?

YES, they will fix it. In fact, there is already an update for Pandora. You could have updated most of your apps in the time it took you to post here.
