Hello all,

In the fall I was using an app from Cydia that would allow me to disable the auto screen rotate from within sbsettings. Well a couple of months ago my iPhone crashed and when I was finally able to get it jailbroken again I had forgotten the name of the app. Can someone please advise the name of it?

Thanks
David

I have a lot of respect for the Rotation Inhibitor author Ryan Petrich since I started using the ProSwitcher beta (another program he and others distributes for free). Because of that, I've decided to chance installing Rotation Inhibitor 0.5 myself as sometimes I need it's functionality too. I'm keeping any eye out on the battery. So far so good since I installed it. Now I gotta make a SBSettings Leopard theme icon for it...

Ive been using it since the day it first came out months ago. In fact, I probably only enable rotation for about 5 minutes per month. No battery drain here.

Same. Maybe thats why I dont have problems. My phone is in portrait 99.9% of the time.

The battery drains MUCH faster with Rotation Inhibitor enabled on my 3G. I keep it disabled via SBsettings most of the time and only turn it on when I need to. Works great when laying on the floor/couch and using the phone at odd angles.
