I've been checking every half hour hoping for a release tonight... I don't care about losing my jailbroken apps; I'm actually quite sick of them by now... and I'm in the Eastern time zone, so I actually have to wait during my awakened hours.

PST is in california where i am and where apple hq is. and right now its 6:38 pm here

To the Australian having trouble with the time zones, if you have an iPod or iPhone (which i am assuming you have because you care about this info) it has the time zonees on the world CLOCK! DUH! PST= Los Angeles. YOUR WELCOME

Also, just because Apple is opening the App Store at that time doesn't mean that 2.0 software will be available at exactly the same time. They'll probably stagger the launches to help work out any kinks.
