Whether it's to blame for the current disruption, who knows but could be a convenient excuse?
Since when does Apple Maps or the App Store come on physical media?, because they were having issues as well 🙄Buy physical media.
On par with their current business models for hardware. They had no trouble taking my money for a movie rental and starting the 48 hour clock, but they won't actually stream the movie. On the Apple TV, I get the message, "Unable to Play: There's a problem playing this video. The issue is being worked on. Try again later." On the Mac TV app, trying to stream eventually fails silently and closes the window, unless I try to download the movie, in which case I see, "There was a problem downloading 'x'. An internal server error occurred. Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again." The first admits there is a problem; the second tries to blame me and my network, but at least it's polite and remembers to say "please."
If the problem isn't resolved within 48 hours, I guess I'm out $3.99. Collecting service revenue without providing the service is nice work if you can get it.
What? you didn't hear about that $800 Apple Maps book they released? It's per city of course. Hahaha /sSince when does Apple Maps or the App Store come on physical media?, because they were having issues as well 🙄

I thought I had a coupon somewhere for the tri-state editions.🤡
No update to the MR story, though… even at Noon ET.Apple System Status shows issues are RESOLVED.
