App Store and Itunes in Japanese??

Okay, we have 3 iphones in our home- tonight I was looking at my wife's 3GS, and when you open the app store, all the prices are in yen, and most of the text is Japanese.

Also, she cannot get to the Itunes store on 3G- she keeps getting the message that you must use wifi to connect. When I did get on the Itunes store (on wifi), it too was in Japanese.

I did some googling and found nothing- anyone know what the heck is going on here???? The other two iphones in our home have none of these issues........

make sure general > international > region format is set to something other than japanese.
