I was just now reinstalling Shazam on my 2.2.1 iPhone 3G and was presented with this pop-up:

Looks like it's not a "3.0 specific" warning since I am still on pre-3.0 firmware. Thought this was worth sharing (and very surprising that Shazam would be rated 17+!)

I *think* that may have been on there earlier, either that or i'm hallucinating, but good find either way!

Also, what theme is that? :p

Just my own customization of icons from various other themes. I'm picky about these things ;)

Yeah, my point was that even pre-3.0 firmwares now show the warning from the App Store, although of course there are no parental controls.

I'm noticing a lot of "3.0 compatible" Apps on the App Store now (I've update 5 today for that very reason). I wouldn't be surprised if Apple went ahead and activated the age warning for those Apps that had them. But I think Apple told developers to give them all a rating soon.
