FOR SURE!!!

One of the main reasons I used a jailbroken phone for so long was iBlackjack and other fun native games. I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks for a game...I can't wait. I just hope they give you some sort of free trial period so you know what you're getting into. I'm definitely getting the 16gb bc I know I will be splurging on apps. Can't wait to see my July iTunes bill...haha

I don't have anything to play any sort of games on now so i will probably play quite a few games on the iphone. I'm hoping for games that make use of the networking capabilities of the hardware that allow me to play games with people online. I know they tried some things like that with the Ngage that could have been decent if the phone had taken off. At launch I'm at least grabbing "Super Monkey Ball"

I will get a game or two just to past the time. But I would definitley buy a really good RPG ported to the iPhone. ( Chrono Trigger sequel :D )

I really hope Apple surpasses their sales goals and makes the iPhone a viable gaming platform that big gaming companies would develop for.

With the addition of the Apps store the sky is the limit. 16 gb is going to be measly very soon.

I will be buying games. I will probably buy Super Monkey Ball first as it will probably be the best game on launch day. I would love to see an EA Football game as I think they could do it with style. Of course Race games are my favorite (Need for Speed).

The Band app looks pretty cool also just to have fun with. Sold PSP as it was a pain to lug around, now that it's on my phone no problem.

This will not be replacing my PS3 with Rockband in anyway, so I guess this would be secondary console.

Hell yeah, I would love to whip out a couple games while I'm on the subway or on the LIRR. The iPhone is my iPod, my phone, my internet device and now a handheld game system, I can't wait until July 11.

Definitely getting Super Monkey Ball.

I like all the "only if they're free" comments.

What do you want to bet that many of these same people have spent hundreds of dollars on console games?

$50 for a Wii game? Sure! $4.99 for an iPhone game? What am I, made out of money!? :D

i'm definatly going to get cro-mag rally, as that was one of my favorite games until i changed my computer and lost the installer CD!
if there are some free games around i may take a look but wont want to be spending to much £$£$£ in the app store.

I'm looking forward to Spore and I will probably get Super Monkey Ball for some accelerometer fun.

No, no need for me. I have my PSP which to me is better for gaming on the go.

Why would you sell your PS3????
  • I rarely played games on it.
  • Blu-ray is so good it made me want to spend way too much money on movies.
  • I was able to sell it for $100 more than I paid for it, since the 60 giggers are so rare now.
  • I used the cash to help pay for my 24" iMac.
