I selected an iPhone app to purchase today (8/27/19) and was asked to verify my payment information. Is this real and does Apple do this periodically? Probably legit, but these days I want to be cautious.

No change made. Been using the same card for years. The last four digits they listed are correct. Card doesn’t expire until 2021.

I get this every so often. I don’t buy a lot, so even though my cards are not close to expiring, i get prompted from time to time. Normal and legit.
