app store cannot connect?

Currently in NYC and app store won't download any apps. tried 3G as well, and nothing. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, having this problem as well on Wi-Fi in the Chicago area. Does not work from any of my devices including iTunes on my Mac.

Thank god someone else is having issues too, I thought it was just me. My ipad 2 and iphone 4s cant finish a download. theyre just stuck at the app saying waiting. My friends iphones are working fine though

It started working for me again around 10:00 PM Central time. Hopefully it has resolved for the rest of you as well.
