App Store Charts - Universal Apps

Hey

Does anyone know if downloads for Universal iOS effect the chart position for both iPad and iPhone charts?...

i.e. If a Universal app sells well on iPhone App Store, does the app bump up in the charts within the iPad App Store chart?

It would be the other way around. If an iPad app was universal, it could enter the top 200 for iPad apps, but it would take 5x more downloads to be a hit on the iPhone charts. More people download apps for the iPhone/iPod.
