App store didn't use my credit? ...

I have $25 credit from gift cards in iTunes now. And I can see the balance at the bottom of the app store app on my phone.

I just bought a $2.99 app and it didn't use my credit. Looks like it just charged my card. I don't think I've seen that behavior before. Any idea what might have happened?

Sometimes the balance just isn't updating. Try log out of your App Store and re log in.
