I went to the app store today and attempted to download an app. It seems like the download is stuck as nothing has happened for several hours, now. There is just a faint gray partially filled circle. I've quit the App Store as well as force quitting it and when I reopen it, I get the same thing. Is there a way to stick it and maybe start over?

App store download appears to be stuck

Actually that’s what I finally wound up doing and it did download. Guess I should have tried this first.
I wonder if it could just be that they are overwhelmed with download requests at the moment.
