Wow quite sad that these countries are just now getting the App Store. For the arhat Apple touts about empowerment, these are some of the poorest places on earth and they’re just getting something that Apple rolled out 10+ years ago.

Not a lot of people buying iphones in those countries for exactly that reason.
 
I can only speak for Georgia: The country is not exactly rich and is also pretty small but you see a lot of people with iPhones. They all used App Stores from other countries so far.

Apple did improve the situation in the recent years though.
First they added an official Georgian keyboard, then they added Apple Pay with all mayor banks last year and now the App Store. What is still missing is the iPhone language but well, already pretty good for a country with only 4 Million people and a language with own alphabet.
 
The new countries are now live! In addition to the App Store, we got Apple Music as well. Not bad, Apple, not bad.
