Can someone tell me what happened. The logo on the home page, that is used to select to open the apps store is missing. Don't know where it went, and did not think it possible to remove it, or for it to remove itself.

Apps

This did not change anything or bring back the app logo

You might have put it in a folder or on an empty page by accident. Try looking, or try using spotlight (pull down from the home screen). It will also tell you what folder it is in if it is in one.
If you can't find it at all, it might be because (don't judge me for saying this, I don't know how old you are) parental controls are on.

Perhaps let us know your resolution as this may help others in a similar situation searching for an answer.

Ah, he moved the app store app to another location by accident and then when it wasn't where he was expecting it he was like "WTF?!? Better post this crazy s#$t to MacRumors..."

Weird

well, dont expect all people to understand everything at once. some are new to ios/android/whatever and when something happens, they need to learn what happened... nowadays many (young) people just know how to tap a screen. for example asking them to send an attachment with an email it is like an impossible task to do.. "how, what know, where is it...?" then try to ask them to open cmd or similar and change some attributes.. that aint gonna happen.. so, only people who are interested in knowing and doing things, knows how to do things. others are waiting everything to happen just by tapping... that is the reality. so dont expect everyone to be techsavvy. they dont. just saying... an dif you ask from me, i would say that these "smart" devices are making people more lazy and stupid...
