Just got my 12 Pro Max all set up today using the wireless iPhone to iPhone transfer from my 7 Plus and everything works great except I am not getting my app list to populate in the App Store. On my old phone, I would normally see my apps (and check for app updates) by tapping on the photo/icon for my account in the upper right to get to the Account screen where I’d see all my apps directly above “Sign Out” and above “Personalized Recommendations,” yet this area is blank on my new phone. Tried restarting and playing with time & date settings (per some weird older articles found on Google). Anyone else having this issue? My screen looks like the below:

...and let me know if this is actually by design — in other words, since the setup process would have downloaded the most recent version of every app, perhaps that section only ever shows *updates* and not necessarily a full app list?

Again, my old phone seems to show every app that’s installed in that section (whether there’s an available update or not), but maybe apps don’t *begin* to populate until they experience an actual update, and being that my apps are technically fresh installs, that’s why nothing is showing there yet? Still curious to get a comparison from other users.

Update:

Theory in post #2 was correct that this is by design. I refreshed that page this morning and I now have one of my apps showing as needing an update.

Feel free to delete this thread or leave it up for educational purposes.

My husband is having the same issue. He tried to restore the phone and set up as a new phone with no luck.. he’s tried everything. Hope apple sees this as an issue and fixes it soon.

Not sure if you saw my follow-ups to the original post, but this is by design. I actually set up a second phone since posting this and it does the same exact thing. So that section is really only meant to show your available updates and not be a place to manage all your apps. As soon as there’s an update to any of your husband’s apps, that app will show up in that section as an available update. Hope that helps.
