Hello everyone, im new to this forum and i have just registered to ask for your help!

I was using Snow Leopard for the last year and since the day i had them the App Store application wasnt working for me. The application opens nice but it just loads forever.Nothing happens.
I try to sign in to my account but nothing happens, buttons are not working. Since then i made several updates of OS and still appstore wasnt working.

Yesterday i have updated to Lion and thought the appstore will work, i was wrong. Still i have the same problem, appstore is not working and not responding.
Can someone help me out and fix this problem please?:confused:

I have a MBP 15" 2.93 GHz 4GB RAM on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1

Open terminal and write:

rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist
mv ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost ~/Desktop/ByHost

Didn't work for me :(

Hi,

My App Store was working fine when I had Snow Leopard, but since Lion it displays the same symptoms described above.

I just tried writing those 3 lines in Terminal, but App Store still won't load anything in it's pane.

I pasted the three commands one at a time, and the 2nd one said, "no such file or directory"?

Any tips?

Thanks :)

Sorted!

Updating my Java by downloading it from Apple's Support section seems to have done the trick (just in case anyone's having the same problem).
