It seems that App Store for the iPad (iOS 5.01) has just been updated.

The most notable change is the way the Top Charts section display the apps:
It previously showed the apps in two columns: the left column for Top iPad Paid Apps, and the right column for Top iPad Free Apps. Also, at the bottom it showed a list of Top-Grossing iPad Apps.

Now, the new format shows every category listed above horizontally, in groups of six apps at a time, which can be easily scrolled with a finger-swipe to either side.

I don't like this update... too much swiping left to see more apps.

I like the fact that it does remember where you left off, even if it crashes or you reboot. At least, that's what it's been doing just now.

The swiping does get a little annoying as you noticed.
 
It seems to load new pages much faster as well. Clicking the 'show more' button on the bottom of of the top tens list used to take my iPad 1 a couple of seconds to load. Now it's almost instant.

I just want a "Show All" button for the top 25's.
