App Store on my iPad mini and iPhone 5 can't connect to iTunes

Is it just me? I have like 20 updates and I can't connect to the iTunes Store as of this morning. Both my iPad mini and iPhone 5 are on 6.1.2 and jailbroken.
 
appstore is getting slammed with all the updates going out .

I got the error but then it started working a minute later.
