App store - Password Prompt

Is there anyway to tell the App Store to stop prompting for the apple id / Password when purchasing / downloading app updates?

When downloading the updates for iWork / iLife i have had to enter in my password for every update.

Same thing happened to me last night. It was asking me every three seconds, and more times than I had things to update.

I rebooted and tried again. Asked me once and that was it. YMMV
