App Store problem

When I try to update an app or download on the ipad, I get a message that the app is in Purchases, but nothing is updated or downloaded.

It means the app is hidden in your purchases. In iTunes, unhide the app by following these instructions:

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4919

Find the app in question, hit the unhide button, and it will solve your problem.

I don't know what changed, but this happened to me too. This is what I did to fix it.
