What is the Apple App Store return policy in the US ? I tried searching but couldn't find anything sorry.

I don't think there's a return policy per se. You can get a refund by reporting a problem and telling them you bought an app by mistake, or the app doesn't do what it claimed to do.

I was told that they allow a one time refund as the app store policy is all sales are final. They have to allow exceptions though such as mentioned above that the app isn't what they claim it to be.
