App Store search: 'No results'

Is this happening in other countries as well? Confirmed with a few people in Australia.

EDIT: appears to be only affecting iOS devices?

this is also effecting activations of devices. i cannot activate an iPhone 4 upgraded to iOS5.

Appears to only be affecting App Store searches as I can still access the other sections in the App Store.

Search broken here in Phoenix on my 4S 16gig.

Same problem here on iPhone 4, it suggests any number of inputs, but select any of the selections, or just hit search, and it says "No Matches Found".

Maybe its part of some new "austerity" measures?

Search didn't work. But if I followed a iTunes link from a web search, the app came up fine.

Yup. One example is "Toyshop", looking for "Toyshop adventures". No results.
