Not for me either.. However... Searching for an app in safari or spotlight finds it 🙂

It's been real hit or miss for me since IOS8...

It was not working for me. Then I did a clean restore and it's working fine now.

I'm still on beta 1 and it had been working fine until yesterday. Now, the search box is nowhere to be found.

You have to allow the App Store's "Featured" tab to load before you tap on search in iOS 8b2.

It doesn't matter how long I wait for items to load, the search box is gone for me on beta 1. Also, direct Safari links to apps don't work either.

Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. It just takes a while, I have noticed sometimes that closing it from the multitasking makes it load. I am on beta 1 as well, but only because for me it is more stable than beta 2.
