App store slow downloads?

Im trying to download iPhoto and iMovie but the download speed is going around 1-2 mb/s which varies from 30-45 minutes remaining

My internet speed seems okay when surfing the web and such. Is this normal?

it could be that Apple's servers are overloaded at the time. I've experienced that occasionally when I'm on my work's wireless - which runs at 100GB

Same ISP same problem. Only downloads from App Store, iTunes music and all other internet sites are fine. Did you ever figure it out?
