App Store “Today” tab not updating

The “Today” section of the App Store updates with new content every day, but it doesn’t regularly update on my iPad Pro 10.5. I have to force close and reopen the App Store for it to display the latest content. Is anyone else experiencing this?

well i force close everything all the time to save battery, so i haven’t noticed

Unless an app is known to have rogue background process, your method doesn’t save battery.

For example, the Today tab on the App Store is showing me content from Friday. I have to force close and reopen to get it to refresh and show content from Saturday and Sunday.
