I have updates (Aperture and Angry Birds) on my App Store page which I have downloaded and installed. The updates stay on the App Store page and won't go away. No harm done, just a nuisance. How do you get rid of them?
My neighbor is having the same problem. I am starting to believe it may have something to do with multiple accounts. She has gone out of town so I have not been able to test my theory.
This happened to me a year or so ago. There may be a corrupt file in your download queue. I contacted iTunes support, told them which apps this was happening with, and within 24-48 hours, they fixed it and contacted me that it was fixed.
How helpful.

How do you navigate through the FAQ's to be able to send a support request?
FWIR, I called 1-800-MYAPPLE, spoke with a rep, told him the issue, and he gave me the iTunes support email address (or told me how to contact iTunes Support).
I'll do that. Thanks again.
you could look inside /Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/AppStore and see if there are any files there. If there are, you should delete them
