I discovered this by accident after having iOS 11 for a couple of days. When updates used to appear automatically on previous versions of iOS, it seems a bit pointless that you now have to swipe down.

M33-1 macrumors 6502 Jun 15, 2010 395 292 Nov 30, 2017 #5 It’s been broken in iOS 11 for a while. Automatic updates under App Store in settings does nothing. Apps do not auto update as they used to in previous iOS versions.
