App Store Won't Download Apps?

I received my iPhone 5 today and the App Store is not allowing me to download apps while on Wifi. The progress bar just doesn't budge. Funny thing is that I can download apps via LTE without any problems. Is this just me?

On wifi today I had a 10 minute d/l of a song (7.3mb), and another song that seemingly hung up on the d/l and didn't show up in my music folder until after an email to Apple. It's been quirky, apparently.

I am also having trouble downloading anything. I keep getting an error, cannot connect to iTunes Store.
