I updated my wife's phone to IOS10, now it wont sync most of the apps.

It give the error: This computer is not authorized for apps that are installed on the iPhone. Would you like to authorize this computer

Then threatens to delete apps and data

It worked before, it also works with other iphones in the house. There are apps from various accounts on all phones and ipods and ipads. And what's worse is that iTunes seems to be stuck where you cannot authorise as it keeps coming up with the same message each time.

Backup is useless as it wipes the backup to the last sync, so I cant restore to before this happened.

How do I get iTunes syncing to this phone again

[doublepost=1485141763][/doublepost]It is not much help to you but i have same problem.
If i try to sync, say contacts, i am told if i fo this many of my contacts on Mac will be deleted.
Wait a minute. I am try to sync my contacts from Mac to iPhone.
No you wont buddy.
If you get an answer I will be happy too.

Some progress, though not entirely sure what is going on.

Rebooted the phone and the PC, it now syncs though it removed all the apps it was not happy with. It will not add any app that a different person has downloaded (all the other devices have no problem sharing apps from a few accounts). In iTunes it will add the apps, then remove them once sync is pressed.

But if you go to app store on the phone then all the missing apps have the little cloud symbol rather than download. The cloud means it's has already been registered to the phone/account, and re-downloading even has all the old data from the app there.

Very odd that this one phone has fallen out with iTunes.

It's bloody new iTunes causing this, grief on all devices wanting the applied for each app downloaded by someone else.

Why must apple keep f***ing things up that worked fine before.

Updating IOS now needs re-autherising, somehow it has used 4 out of 5, yet it's only been connected to 1 PC and 1 MacBook in it's life, go figure. Same with all other devices, wanting to re-authorise. If something worked before an update, then it's not too much to expect it to work after too

Which version of iTunes? I've been ignoring the update request on my PC for a while now. If the update causes issues, I'll carry on ignoring it
